I love Wattle Creek! I took my mom wine tasting here when she visited last spring and she loved it.
I've since been back multiple times and bring friends with me. My friend and I decided to join their wine club and now love taking other people with us for tastings. The wine club is an awesome value if you live in the area, since you get free tastings and $5 reserve tastings (which are normally $25 each).
I've enjoyed all of their wines and love that they're made from estate-grown grapes. My favorites are the Viognier, 2008 Chardonnay, 2009 Shiraz and both of the Cabernet Sauvignons on the reserve list are excellent. Well worth the $40-60 per bottle splurge, if you have a special occasion coming up. I'm also not a Rose fan, but theirs is a perfect salmon color.
The service has always been very nice, too. There is an older lady who works there who can be a bit sales-y, but she's super knowledgeable about the wines. The owner's son is often there, too, and he's so fun to talk to! Even someone who has little wine knowledge (like my mom) can feel super at home and welcomed. A huge plus.
PS - They validate parking for 1hour in the garage down below!
Just get a glass, sit out on the patio and have a Kara's cupcake. You won't be sorry :)
