The Bridlewood property had formerly been one of Santa Barbara's premier equestrian rehabilitation facilities. In 1998 the estate was renovated to become an estate winery, retaining the property's architectural charm.     Beautiful scenery, but the wines weren't really my style. I prefer bolder wines, and of course this region does not really specialize in that. That aside, I found the syrah's and Pinots to just be so-so.

    The wines were ok but you can get them cheaper in the store (Bev Mo, K&L, etc). Another winery recommend we check Bridlewood out because (1) the property was "gorgeous" and (2) their Zin was excellent. The property was gorgeous but the Zin was a big disappointment.
